Boys of Summer Select Baseball

Mission Statement

B.O.S.S. Baseball, formed in 2007, is 501(c)3 organization comprised of families who are commited to provide their children with the opportunity to play baseball on the state and national levels.

Our mission is to develop baseball players who will be able to compete with players at the highest levels.  We will strive to achieve this by providing instruction of the fundamentals of baseball to our youth through a fun, positive environment that includes regular team practices as well as a highly competitive schedule throughout the summer.  We are also committed to having this organization be one that is not only an organization in philosophy but also one whose cohesiveness breeds success throughout all levels of the organization.

We are looking for young baseball players that combine strong core baseball skills with a love and commitment for the game.  The coaching staffs will build on this core individual strength through well organized practices and drills to develop the best prepared baseball team in southeastern Wisconsin.  The program will communicate directly with parents and seek to build family relationships between the families of our players, understanding that the entire family is making a commitment to the program.  The program will seek to be the finest baseball team in southeastern Wisconsin, measured not only by our win-loss record, but also through the love of the game and team concepts shown by every player in the program.  Our youth mentoring program will also focus on our players taking ownership of our organization’s philosophy, with our older players being actively involved in the mentoring of our younger players.

Based on this philosophy, B.O.S.S. baseball seeks to find talented and dedicated baseball players to participate in our program.  The coaches will work with these players to give them the knowledge and confidence they need to develop the skills which will allow them to compete at the highest level.  We will measure ourselves not only by our success on the field, but also by the growth and development of ALL our players.  We will strive to create a baseball experience that stresses preparation, teamwork and respect of our teammates, opponents, umpires and the game itself.

We believe in organizational unity not only between the coaching staffs, but also between all age levels and individual players within the organization.  We will actively work to promote mentoring of our younger players by the older players to facilitate the growth of our younger players.  This increased responsibility will also enhance the experience for our older youth players while also teaching the skills necessary to give back to the game they love.

B.O.S.S. Baseball completes successful first season

We are dedicated to providing an environment where our players will learn the game of baseball and have the opportunity to increase their individual skill levels that will allow them to compete at the advanced levels of travel baseball.  We will once again offer our fall skills clinics on Sundays from 4:00 - 6:00 pm beginning September 14 on going through October 5th.

We currently have a few roster spots available at various age levels.  Feel free to stop by one of our fall clinics or
